Think Gifts legal
Terms & Conditions
These Terms explain the rules that apply when you use Think Gifts, personalise a product or place an order through our website.
1. About these Terms
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Think Gifts website and purchases made through it. “Think Gifts”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the business operating this website.
Business details to complete before publication: Think Gifts is operated by Coverage Gifts Trading LLC, trade licence number [TRADE LICENCE NUMBER], with a registered/business address at 105 Al Faraidooni Building, Abu Hail, Dubai, U.A.E. Contact: support@thinkgiftsuae.com / +971 4 252 5272.
By using the website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and any policies expressly incorporated into them. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable UAE law.
2. Using the Website
You may use this website only for lawful purposes. You must not misuse the website, interfere with its security or operation, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, scrape the site in a manner that disrupts service, or use the website to infringe another person’s rights.
If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity carried out through your account. Please tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
3. Products, Descriptions & Availability
We aim to describe and display products accurately. Images, previews and colours can appear differently depending on screen settings, lighting, product materials and production methods. Dimensions and specifications should be reviewed before ordering.
Products, colours, finishes and packaging may be subject to availability. If an item becomes unavailable after you order, we will contact you to discuss an appropriate alternative, delay, cancellation or refund where applicable.
We will not knowingly provide misleading or materially inaccurate product information. If a delivered item is defective, damaged, incomplete or materially different from its stated description, your rights under applicable law are preserved.
4. Personalisation, Uploaded Content & AI Design Tools
Many Think Gifts products are personalised. Before submitting an order, please review the final preview and the information you provide, including names, spelling, dates, colours, placement, sizes, uploaded images, logos and selected options.
Where our website offers AI-assisted design or image-generation features, generated results are creative outputs and may vary. You are responsible for reviewing the final design you approve for production. AI output should not be treated as a guarantee of exact colour, texture or physical production appearance.
You must have the necessary rights or permissions to upload and use photographs, logos, trademarks, artwork, names or other content you submit. You must not upload unlawful, infringing, defamatory, abusive or otherwise prohibited content. We may refuse or cancel a customisation request where reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect third-party rights, or maintain site safety.
Personalisation does not remove mandatory consumer rights. Where an item is defective, damaged, incomplete, materially not as described, or otherwise falls within a statutory return/replacement right, those rights remain available.
5. Prices, Taxes & Payment
Prices are stated in the currency displayed at checkout. Any applicable taxes, delivery charges or other mandatory charges will be shown before the order is submitted where required.
Online payments are processed through Mamo Pay and payment infrastructure used by Mamo. Payment authorisation, security checks, settlement and related processing may therefore be subject to Mamo’s systems, terms and applicable regulatory requirements.
Think Gifts does not require customers to send full card numbers or card-security codes to us by ordinary email or contact form. Payment providers may process payment information separately from Think Gifts. A payment being authorised does not by itself mean that a customised order has entered production.
We may refuse or cancel an order before production where payment is not authorised, fraud or misuse is reasonably suspected, required information is missing, the requested content cannot lawfully be produced, or a clear pricing/technical error has occurred. Any amount that must legally be returned following such a cancellation will be handled through the applicable payment channel.
6. Orders & Order Acceptance
Placing an order is an offer to purchase the selected products subject to these Terms. An automated order acknowledgement confirms that we received your order; it does not necessarily mean that production has started or that every aspect of the order has been accepted.
We may contact you if information is missing, artwork requires clarification, an item is unavailable, or an order cannot be fulfilled as submitted. Once an order is accepted for production, changes may be limited.
Please keep your order confirmation and invoice. You should quote your order number when contacting us about an order.
7. Changes, Cancellations & Custom Orders
Personalised, customised and made-to-order products are produced specifically for the customer and are final sale for ordinary change-of-mind purposes to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
This includes, without limitation, products that are printed, engraved, embroidered, manufactured, assembled or otherwise produced using names, dates, photographs, logos, artwork, messages, colours, layouts, sizes or other specifications selected or approved by the customer.
Once production, personalisation, procurement or other custom fulfilment work has started, we do not accept a cancellation, return or refund merely because the customer changed their mind, no longer needs the item, the event was cancelled or moved, selected the wrong option, supplied incorrect information, or later prefers a different design.
If you request a change before production starts, we may try to accommodate it, but acceptance is at our discretion and may involve additional charges or a revised completion date. Nothing in this section limits a remedy that cannot legally be excluded for a verified defect, damage, non-conformity or other mandatory statutory right.
8. Production, Delivery & Collection
Production and delivery times depend on the product, personalisation, quantity, destination, availability, workload and third-party logistics. Unless we expressly confirm a guaranteed deadline in writing, any production or delivery date shown or discussed is an estimate only.
A delay against an estimate does not by itself create an automatic right to cancel a customised order or receive a refund. We are not responsible, to the fullest extent permitted by law, for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, including courier disruption, incorrect or incomplete delivery details, recipient unavailability, access restrictions, customs or regulatory delays, weather, transport interruption or force-majeure events.
We may use one or more licensed third-party courier, logistics or fulfilment providers depending on the order and destination. We do not commit in these Terms to a particular courier.
You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address and reachable contact details. Reasonable redelivery or correction charges may apply where a failed delivery results from information supplied by the customer or recipient unavailability, where permitted by law.
Nothing in this section excludes a consumer right that applies mandatorily under UAE law, including where a delay meets the legal threshold for a statutory remedy.
9. Custom Orders, Returns, Damage & Defects
Customised, personalised and made-to-order items are not eligible for return, exchange or refund for change of mind to the fullest extent permitted by law. This includes customer errors in spelling, names, dates, uploaded artwork, selected options or other specifications that were shown to or supplied by the customer before production.
Minor differences between an on-screen preview and the physical product — including reasonable differences in colour, material texture, print appearance, engraving tone, positioning or scale — are not automatically defects where the supplied product materially follows the approved design and product description.
If you believe an item arrived damaged, defective, incomplete or materially different from the agreed specification, contact us promptly and within any applicable legal period. We may require the order number, clear photographs or video, packaging photographs, and the item to be retained unused except as reasonably necessary for inspection.
Submitting a complaint does not create an automatic cash-refund entitlement. We will assess the issue and, where a defect or other statutory non-conformity is verified, the matter will be handled in accordance with applicable UAE law. Depending on the legal requirements and circumstances, an available remedy may include repair, re-production, replacement, return or refund where such remedy is legally required.
We may reject claims attributable to customer misuse, accidental damage after delivery, unauthorised alteration, incorrect customer-supplied content or specifications, normal wear, or other causes for which Think Gifts is not legally responsible.
A separate Returns & Refund Policy, if published, must be read consistently with this section and applicable UAE law.
10. Promotions, Discount Codes & Gift Services
Promotions, discount codes, free-delivery offers, gift wrapping and other promotional benefits may have separate eligibility rules, validity periods or exclusions. Unless stated otherwise, promotions cannot be exchanged for cash and may not be combined.
We may correct or withdraw a promotion where there is an obvious error, misuse, fraud or a legal/regulatory requirement to do so, while respecting rights already acquired under a valid completed transaction.
11. Intellectual Property
The Think Gifts website, brand assets, product photography, original copy, layouts, graphics, software and other content owned or licensed by us are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may use the website for personal shopping and legitimate business enquiries, but you may not reproduce, exploit or distribute protected material without permission.
Rights in customer-uploaded materials remain with their respective owners. By submitting content for personalisation, you give us a limited permission to use that content only as reasonably necessary to process, produce, fulfil, support and document your order, subject to our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
12. Reviews, Messages & Customer Content
If you submit a review, message, feedback or other public-facing content, it must be truthful, relevant and lawful. We may moderate or remove content that is spam, abusive, misleading, unlawful, infringes rights, exposes personal information inappropriately, or is unrelated to the product or service experience.
We will not condition the publication of legitimate feedback on it being positive.
13. Liability & Limits
Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts liability, remedies or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
Subject to that limitation, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, Think Gifts is not responsible for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, loss arising from customer-supplied errors or unauthorised content, loss caused by misuse of a product, or loss caused by events outside our reasonable control.
We are not responsible for a customer’s spelling, names, dates, uploaded images, logos, artwork, selected product options or other instructions where the order was produced materially in accordance with the information or preview approved by the customer.
AI-assisted previews and generated artwork are creative tools. Where the customer reviews and approves a design for production, normal differences between a digital preview and a physical production process do not by themselves create liability.
Third-party services such as payment processing and delivery may occasionally experience outages or delays outside our direct control. This does not remove any obligation that applicable law places directly on Think Gifts, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation of third-party systems.
14. Privacy & Data
Our collection and use of personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy forms an important part of your relationship with Think Gifts, particularly when you create an account, place an order, contact us, upload personalisation files or use AI-assisted design features.
15. Complaints & Disputes
Please contact us first if you have a complaint so we can try to resolve it promptly. Provide your order number, a clear explanation of the issue and any relevant photographs or supporting information.
Nothing in these Terms prevents a consumer from using rights, complaint channels, competent authorities, dispute-resolution mechanisms or courts available under applicable UAE law.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the United Arab Emirates, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rules or other mandatory jurisdictional provisions that apply to the transaction.
Any court or dispute-resolution wording should be checked against the legal entity’s licence and emirate before publication: [CONFIRM EMIRATE / JURISDICTION].
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our services, website, business practices or applicable law. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated effective date. Changes will not retrospectively remove rights that have already arisen under applicable law.
